Mexico’s Greatness Continues to Reveal Its HistoryThe National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) discovered the Mundo Zoque Cave in Chiapas, 20 meters underground. At the ceremonial site, 13 offerings and 179 pre-Hispanic artifacts were found—remnants that will allow us to learn more about the Zoque culture and preserve our historical memory.

Addressing the Root Causes Means Bringing About Change from the Ground UpDuring its tour of Michoacán, the Ministry of the Interior visited five municipalities to hear directly from families, young people, teachers, and producers. The strategy to address the root causes of violence focuses efforts on 61 municipalities that account for 40% of the country’s intentional homicides.
Audiences Have RightsUpon concluding the public consultation on Audience Rights, the Ministry of the Interior highlighted the agreement reached with the National Chamber of the Radio and Television Industry and noted that the debate will continue. Regarding the creation of codes of ethics for journalism, the Ministry clarified that it is up to the profession itself to define them.
The Mexican Economy Is Moving Forward with StabilityWith 2.7% growth, a strong peso, and lower inflation, Mexico maintains economic stability. The Minister of the Interior emphasized that these are the results of President Claudia Sheinbaum’s leadership. “Economic statistics are not demagogic; they’re based on indicators and results,” she said.
