I think it’s too early and too convoluted to be talking about winning and loosing. These days it’s not about wars because at least from the US side we don’t do that anymore. Too costly and cruel. It’s about targeted actions to remove harmful and antidemocratic problems, like Maduro.
Technically the USA hasn’t issued a declaration of war since WWII, all conflicts since were unauthorized actions by the executive branch, but even still you have to admit whatever the fuck it was they did in Iraq was beneficial for the USA (or at least Exxon Mobil) and constitutes a win.
Similarly the USA played a large role in toppling Isis, Lybia, and Syria but moreso via proxies.
