We’re starting the new Substack Philosophy Class (this one on G.A. Cohen’s book of essays Self-Ownership, Freedom, and Equality) tomorrow.

Note that we’re starting very slightly out of order–we’ll do Cohen’s introduction next time but for this first session I thought it would be fun to take the White Queen’s advice from Through the Looking Glass (adventures before explanations) and jump in with the very first essay, “Robert Nozick and Wilt Chamberlain: how patterns preserve liberty” for this first session.
