Puerto Rico is experiencing a water shortage crisis caused by severe drought, aging infrastructure, and successive governments prioritizing major economic interests over the country’s development. The scarcity of drinking water forces Puerto Ricans to find their own solutions. In a mountainous area of Trujillo Alto, residents go to a natural well to collect water every day.
