On the occasion of IHL Day yesterday, the Party and the New People’s Army reaffirm its commitment to uphold the National Democratic Front of the Philippine’s “Declaration of Adherence to International Humanitarian Law” (August 15, 1991) in waging revolutionary armed struggle to fight for national liberation from US imperialism and end the oppressive and exploitative rule of the puppet ruling classes.

At the same time, we hold to account Marcos and his armed henchmen, supported and goaded by their US imperialist master, who brazenly trample on human rights and IHL, in inflicting the most brutal forms of fascist repression against the masses of workers and peasants, as desperate measures to preserve the ruling system of corruption and oppression.

We join the broad masses of oppressed peoples around the globe in condemning the US imperialists and the Israeli Zionists who are waging a genocide against the Palestinian people, as well as other war criminals who commit the most bestial crimes against humanity.
