Hundreds of students marched in São Paulo on Tuesday against Flávio Bolsonaro, along with Governor Tarcísio de Freitas’s education policies. Students accused Flávio, son of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, of “selling out” Brazil for political support from Trump. A controversy erupted last month when Jair’s other son Eduardo, another Trump ally, obtained a green card to live in the US to avoid prosecution in Brazil for his role in his father’s 2022 coup attempt. Flávio Bolsonaro faces off against current president Lula da Silva in October’s elections.
