LABOUR’S nuclear policy was slammed as “dangerous and immoral” by the Scottish Greens on the 81st Hiroshima Day today.PM Andy Burnham’s government has said that its commitment to weapons of mass destruction is “absolute” — strengthening the case for an independent, nuclear-free Scotland, the party’s co-leader Gillian Mackay said.Ministers have also set out plans to spend £63.6bn over the next four years for the government’s Defence Nuclear Enterprise, £47bn of which will go on nuclear submarines.
