THE SQUARE is a short observational documentary filmed during an RAF public engagement event in George Square, Luton. As families explore aircraft exhibits and recruitment activities, a small group of peace campaigners quietly distribute anti-war leaflets around the square. The film observes two contrasting perspectives sharing the same public space. Through conversations with RAF personnel, peace activists and the unfolding events themselves, THE SQUARE invites viewers to reflect on recruitment, protest, remembrance and the different ways people understand war.
