Hundreds of teachers and public sector workers took the streets in Buenos Aires Monday as part of the 24-hour national strike against President Javier Milei’s cuts to public education. The strike was launched by the Confederation of Education Workers of the Argentine Republic (CTERA) and the State Workers’ Association (ATE) across all levels of education, demanding Milei’s government resume salary negotiations and restore funding to education.
