WORKERS at the Royal Museums Greenwich will go on a two-day strike this month to improve pay and conditions, Prospect has announced.

Heritage sector workers have been “taken advantage of for too long,” said the union’s general secretary Mike Clancy.

Some 77 per cent of members voted for strike action, and 88 per cent for action short of a strike, on a turnout of 90 per cent.

London Living Wage accreditation this year, protection of existing Christmas closure annual leave arrangements and paid breaks for security workers are among their demands.
