CATASTROPHIC wildfires across Wales expose both the growing impact of climate change and chronic underfunding of Welsh emergency infrastructure, Green Party Senedd members warned to+day.

Welsh Green Party leader Anthony Slaughter and Caerdydd Ffynnon Taf MS Paul Rock called for urgent action, including better funding for the emergency services.

They also demanded rigorous preventative action to reduce the impact of increasingly frequent wildfires and avert future disasters.
