Venezuelan protestors rallied on Saturday against US-Israeli presence in the country, calling on acting president Delcy Rodríguez to “expel” the “imperialist Zionist invasion.” Under late president Hugo Chavez, Venezuela severed relations with Israel in 2009. However, an Israeli delegation arrived in the country to following the twin earthquakes earlier this month to participate in rescue efforts.
