Mexico City. With progress on the USMCA review and bilateral agreements, the meeting between President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and the United States Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer, concluded.
“At Palacio Nacional, we met with the United States Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer; we made progress on the USMCA review and bilateral agreements for the benefit of both peoples,” President Sheinbaum posted on her social media.
It was nearly 90 minutes of conversation. The American and his delegation left Palacio Nacional at 11:33 a.m.
Under heavy security, the United States Trade Representative, Jamieson Greer, arrived at Palacio Nacional, accompanied, among others, by the Ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson, to meet with President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

Moments earlier, at the end of her press conference, the president anticipated that it would be a broad meeting. “It’s like an evaluation of how far we’re going, what they are proposing, even the timelines. So, to be able to have a bit more information directly about how this review (of the USMCA) that we are carrying out is being framed.”
