    The state and government issue me an id. Requiring i have an id that you already have a copy of is insane.

    Olive garden doesnt give you an id, they use the state one you already have.

    So if the government wanted to so badyly, they should use the id they already have of whoever theyre scrutinizing.

    But that’s not the point right? Its just to add another hoop to deter poors, sick, and minorities from voting.

    Will you remove the cost of applying for a federal ID for everyone, pay for their transit to the location required to get said ID, pay for their missing work, and establish legal protections so they won’t be fired for missing work to get an ID to exercise their rights? Or will you just continue pushing for a poll tax?
