ANIMAL welfare activists slammed a fox hunting festival in Peterborough for “sanitising brutality” as it displays the scale of killing despite the ban.The League Against Cruel Sports called on members of the public to boycott the Festival of Hounds taking place on Wednesday in the Cambridgeshire city.They also urged people to send a copy of a report authored by the league which detailed the scale of suspected illegal fox hunting still taking place, up in the 2025-26 season with 624 incidents reported.
