Community leaders held a press conference in front of Portland City Hall in Maine Friday demanding full accountability and a “swift, transparent, and independent investigation” into the ICE killing of Johan Sebastian Guerrero. Portland will be one of over 70 cities joining in the National Day of Action this Saturday against Trump’s immigration policies and calling for full legal rights of all immigrants. Since the killings of Guerrero and Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston, demonstrations have erupted across the country on an almost daily basis.
