RONNIE O’SULLIVAN won the inaugural Snooker 900 Global Championship after making five centuries en route to beating Luca Brecel 10-5 in Sunday’s final.

Seven-time world champion O’Sullivan clinched the last three frames of the afternoon session in Reading to take a 6-3 lead into the evening.

The 50-year-old won the next two frames to stretch his advantage before 2023 world champion Brecel hit back to reduce his deficit to 8-5.
