On Tuesday, FIFA announced that international stars from the world of music and entertainment will participate in the closing ceremony of the 2026 World Cup, next Sunday, at MetLife Stadium.

Among the confirmed artists are actor Tom Cruise, singers Robbie Williams and Laura Pausini, artist Nicole Scherzinger, and streamer IShowSpeed, who will join the tournament’s final show.
American singer Jennifer Hudson, with EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony), will perform a “special” version of the U.S. national anthem, which has been played at every match held at MetLife Stadium, although notably an hour before kickoff.
The show will be produced in collaboration with the Italian company Balich Wonder Studio, and although details have not been revealed, FIFA has stated that it will highlight the tournament’s “passion, emotion, and global character.”

The World Cup opening ceremony has already featured artists such as Shakira, Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda, Lila Downs, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Tyla, Mana, and Los Angeles Azules in Mexico; while in the United States, Katy Perry, LISA, Anitta, Future, and DJ Sanjoy performed; and in Canada, Michael Buble, Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Rush, Nelly Furtado, and The Halluci Nation took the stage.
For the first time in the tournament’s history, FIFA has also planned a musical show at halftime of the final, with performances by Shakira, Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, Gustavo Dudamel, Burna Boy, the PS22 choir, and Coldplay.
On Tuesday, the semi-final between France and Spain will be played in Dallas; on Wednesday, the other semi-final between Argentina and England will take place in Atlanta, and on Saturday, the match for third place will be played in Miami.
