The Alternative for Germany (AfD) is currently polling around 27 percent. Many warn that we are ‘five minutes away from 1933’. The established parties are campaigning with the slogan ‘save democracy’ to win back a dwindling electorate, which is abandoning them due to decades of cuts and attacks.
