No casualties were reported, and the fire was later extinguished.

In the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar said a drone attack sparked fires at two petroleum product storage facilities in the city of Azov on Friday morning. According to preliminary information, no casualties were reported, and firefighting operations were underway.

Slyusar added that in a separate incident, two tankers in Taganrog Bay sustained mechanical damage following a drone attack. Ukraine Starts Building Domestic A Anti-Ballistic System

On Friday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine has started developing a domestically produced anti-ballistic system, designed to be an analogue of the U.S. Patriot in terms of intercepting ballistic targets.

“We have started building our own European project called Freya. I very much count on the success of this project,” he stated, adding that Freya would be easier to mass-produce and less expensive than the Patriot system.

Ukraine will soon present the Freya project to partner countries that could help accelerate its development, Zelensky stressed.
