The winner of the drawing will receive an all-expenses-paid weekend trip to Toronto to attend the Blue Jays’ regular-season series against the Baltimore Orioles, scheduled for September 11 through 13.

The prize package includes round-trip airfare, two nights of hotel accommodations and premium game tickets that will allow the winner to watch the series from a luxury suite and reserved seating inside Rogers Centre.

Donations are being collected through the certified online fundraising platform Alltroo, allowing supporters from virtually anywhere in the world to contribute securely and directly to the campaign.

Beyond Baseball

Guerrero Jr.’s initiative highlights the growing role professional athletes play in responding to humanitarian emergencies beyond the field of competition. Throughout recent years, athletes across multiple sports have increasingly used their public visibility to raise funds and awareness following natural disasters, armed conflicts and public health emergencies.

The earthquakes that struck Venezuela caused widespread destruction, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of shelter, food, medical care and other essential services. Relief efforts have continued with the support of national authorities, international organizations and rescue teams from dozens of countries.

By launching this fundraising campaign, Guerrero Jr. joins those broader efforts, seeking to channel additional financial resources toward emergency assistance while reminding the global sports community of the challenges still facing affected populations.

The Dominican first baseman has earned a reputation not only for his accomplishments on the field but also for his commitment to charitable initiatives throughout his professional career. His latest project reinforces the idea that athletes can leverage their influence to inspire solidarity and encourage fans to participate in causes that extend far beyond sports.

The campaign serves as another example of how the global reach of professional sports can become a powerful instrument for solidarity, transforming athletic fame into tangible assistance for communities facing extraordinary hardship.
