TODAY: Around 4,000 nurses at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston launched the largest healthcare strike in Massachusetts state history. They are joined by 450 Mass General Brigham Home Care workers. The Massachusetts Nurses Association is fighting for safer conditions and pay increases to match the rising cost of living. Rather than negotiate in good faith, Mass General Brigham locked out the workers for four additional days after the intended one day strike, in an attempt to bust the union.
