Authorities report strategic food reserves, hospital deliveries and water infrastructure inspections to support displaced families.
On Tuesday, the Venezuelan government confirmed that the food supply is fully guaranteed in all regions of the country affected by the earthquakes of June 24.

During a visit at a storage center in La Guaira state, Food Minister Carlos Leal Tellerias verified the availability of a reserve of more than 4,500 metric tons of food staples, cereals, animal protein, fruits, vegetables and produce.
The strategic inventory is intended to ensure a timely, sufficient, continuous, and uninterrupted supply for several months, with special emphasis on assisting families sheltered in transition camps.
Leal Tellerias sent a message of reassurance to communities in La Guaira, Caracas, Miranda and Yaracuy, reaffirming the Venezuelan state’s commitment to maintaining food security.
Volunteers from the food sector remain deployed around the clock to guarantee food security for Venezuelan families sheltered in temporary and mobile camps.
Technical supply operations allow for the uninterrupted preparation and distribution of hot meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for communities in emergency situations.
The Homeland Cooks, working in coordination with the National School Food Corporation (CNAE), reaffirmed their social commitment at storage centers and community dining halls to ensure collective well-being.
Seven hospitals in La Guaira were fully supplied with strategic shipments of protein products, food staples, fruits, vegetables and produce, safeguarding the nutritional operations of the public health network responsible for responding to the health emergency along the central coast.
The deployment includes methodological guidance from the National Nutrition Institute (INN), whose specialists supervise menus under the parameters of the Sovereign 4S campaign (Healthy, Tasty, Safe and Sovereign), adapting caloric intake to the needs of patients and disaster victims.
The civil-military mobilization demonstrates the Venezuelan state’s levels of organization and the support of grassroots movements, placing absolute priority on preserving life, protecting health, and providing solidarity-based assistance in the affected territories.
At the same time, the Water Ministry carried out an operational deployment of technical inspections at several institutions in Miranda state that have been strategically designated as temporary shelters.
Teams of engineers evaluated and upgraded water systems, pumping stations, electromechanical control panels and water treatment networks at educational institutions including Ana Maria Campos, Mariscal Sucre, Francisco Iznardi, Negro Primero, and Francisco de Miranda.
