FRANCE forward Kylian Mbappe has condemned a Paraguayan senator over racist remarks she made following Paraguay’s loss to France in the round of 16 at the World Cup.

Amarilla, a senator from Paraguay’s Liberal Radical Party, posted a series of racist comments on X on Saturday, describing Mbappe as a “colonised Cameroonian, desperately trying to pass himself off as French” and as a “brute who had not learned to write.” Paraguay’s players should have slapped him after the match, she added.
