Mexico City. As part of the strategy to make the health system universal, one million older adults have so far been issued their credentials, the population sector with which this program began, with the goal that, starting in 2027, this system will begin operating and will allow greater integration of the IMSS, ISSSTE, and IMSS Bienestar to serve the population, President Claudia Sheinbaum reported.
Separately, she said progress has been made on the Vida Saludable (Healthy Life) program to attend to basic-education students in diagnosing obesity, oral health, and detecting vision problems, so that, together with fathers and mothers, the health of minors can be improved.
