Among the highlights are the gold medal Pele won at the 1962 World Cup, a pair of boots worn by Diego Maradona during his childhood with the Cebollitas youth team, and a Lionel Messi jersey.
The auction, which represents more than 30 countries and spans nearly a century of sports history, concludes on July 9 and is expected to raise between US$1 and US$2 million.
Head of Special Sales Mitchell Kaba noted that Pele’s medal is the most valuable item, projected to fetch over US$300,000, and hailed the Brazilian as “the number one player of all time.”

Fans will also be able to purchase other Pele memorabilia, such as his Brazil jersey from the 1964 Nations Cup, an autographed ball, a glove signed alongside Muhammad Ali, and his Brazilian passport.
Maradona’s childhood boots for the Cebollitas youth team are considered relics of a prodigy many saw as Pele’s successor. Messi’s match jerseys are also being auctioned, including one from the 2014 semifinal.
The auction also includes items from Cristiano Ronaldo, such as autographed boots and a jersey with a medal from the 2018 UEFA Champions League final, as well as pieces from Ronaldo Nazario, Neymar, Beckham, and Zidane.
In addition to historical figures, items from rising stars like Lamine Yamal and Erling Haaland are being offered, along with memorabilia from other sports: LeBron James jerseys, Michael Jordan suits, and Serena Williams dresses.
