The United States is waging war on Iraq because our oil reserves are incredibly low. The poorest here suffer, and nowhere near the degree of the people of Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, LatAm, Caribbean, etc etc etc.
Perhaps that degree of suffering is the medicine for our ugliness, selfishness, greed, calous indifferent inertia.
