Sniper fire kills a 31-year-old man in Khan Younis as daily strikes continue despite ceasefire.
On Monday, Israeli occupation forces struck Deir Al-Balah with drones, killing three Palestinians, including an 8-year-old boy. Israeli soldiers also killed another person in the town of Al Qarara in Khan Younis.

A source at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital identified the boy as Malik Wael Abu Shawish, while the other two killed in the same attack on a street in Deir al Balah were identified as Ali Fayez Asbitan and Hassan Al Hanajra.
Similar to previous occasions, an Israeli army spokesman did not comment on the boy’s death and justified the attack by saying it targeted an alleged member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
In Khan Younis, an Israeli sniper killed Palestinian Salim al Ashqar, a 31-year-old man whose body was transferred to the morgue at Nasser Medical Complex.

Despite a cease-fire in effect since October 2023, Israel launches daily targeted airstrikes in the Gaza Strip under the pretext of killing members of local militias.
On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces killed four people, including a 13-year-old girl in Khan Younis, one unidentified person in Al Mawasi, and two others in Beit Lahia.
Since October 2023, Zionist forces have killed at least 73,050 people in Gaza. An independent United Nations commission, international organizations and two Israeli nongovernmental organizations have described the events as genocide.
