Upon addressing the BRICS energy ministers’ meeting in the video address format, Tsivilyov stated that the long-term priorities for the development of the Russian energy sector are outlined in the Energy Strategy by 2050.

The minister added that Moscow intends not only to boost the supply of resources but also to expand the export of its technologies and production solutions.

He also noted that his country considers the BRICS energy platform a priority cooperation mechanism and supports the research on hydrogen value chains initiated by India.

Tsivilyov also assessed New Delhi’s initiative to create a center of expertise in the field of smart grids and energy storage systems.
