Mexico City. Reaffirming her solidarity with the people of Venezuela following the two strong earthquakes recorded yesterday in the central-northern region of that country, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo reported that a team of rescuers and medical personnel from the Ministry of National Defense leaves today to provide aid.
“Once they are set up there and have spoken with the authorities, tomorrow we will determine any additional personnel that may be required in order to always help the peoples who need it,” she said at the morning press conference.
The first brigade is made up of 250 soldiers, five dogs, four aircraft, one drone, search and rescue tools, as well as equipment and medical supplies.
