Community groups, clergy members, activists and state lawmakers have called on Governor Gretchen Whitmer to grant Clark medical clemency, while human rights advocates are calling for Women’s Huron Valley to be closed and for its director to quit amidst widespread allegations of unchecked black mold growth, inadequate medical care, and multiple recent inmate deaths.
