    Venezuela’s military participated in a coup, and are still cooperating with the US military.

    Until they can get their military under control, they are now tools of the US too.

    The US is getting rid of rivals in the Orinoco belt in the south involved in mining to get the big mining conglomerates in there. Not just gold, rare earths, including coltan and all sorts of stuff.
