SPEEDWAY: Reigning world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik won the fifth round of this year’s competition on a wet track in Wroclaw on Sunday evening to take a three-point lead over Brady Kurtz. Norwich’s Robert Lambert sits third, 14 points behind Kurtz.

World number five Jack Holder crashed out with Jason Doyle in heat seven and could take no further part in the racing. Malilla in southern Sweden hosts next month’s sixth leg.
