Andrew Tate, Rupert Lowe, and Tommy Robinson

On 17 June, Restore Britain published its ‘Rape Gang Inquiry Report’. In the aftermath, critics accused the authors of using fraudulent figures and selective data to present an Islamophobic narrative. Defenders, meanwhile, used the report to push Islamophobic narratives — essentially backing up the argument of the critics. The notable thing about the report’s defenders is that many of them are ardent sexists themselves. Among them is Andrew Tate; the key driver of global misogyny in the early 2020s:

Using victims

Restore’s report included testimony from real victims, but it also:

  • Included a fabricated figure of ‘250,000 victims’.
  • Excluded victims of colour.
  • Made no mention of white perpetrators.
  • Attempted to make the case that Islam makes people more likely to commit sex crimes.

Speaking on the survivors Restore chose to ignore, Grace wrote for the Canary:

Femi and other survivors like her have been put through a twofold ordeal. First, they had to suffer through sexual and psychological abuse. Then, they have had to endure politicians and agitators weaponising their stories against their faith and their community.

In the aftermath of the report, global bigots used the fabricated figures to try and diminish the crimes of the Epstein class:

This is approximately a million times worse than Epstein. It’s not even remotely close. The scale. The nature of the crimes. The powerful institutions implicated. And yet something tells me that many of the Epstein obsessives will have nothing at all to say about this. https://t.co/in3Rkdh7p5

And is hasn’t ended there.

Andrew Tate steps in

Tate entered into all this via a conversation with Dries Van Langenhove — a prominent Dutch ‘remigration’ advocate. If you’re unfamiliar, ‘remigration‘ is the the plan to forcibly ‘deport’ all people of colour from Europe. We’ve put ‘deport’ in brackets, because it’s not really a ‘deportation’ when you’re talking about native citizens; it’s ‘ethnic cleansing’.

If you know anything about Tate, you’ll know he’s a British citizen who’s lived in Romania, America, and Dubai. Given that, you might think a ‘remigration’ advocate would want nothing to do with him. The reason why none of that matters is because remigration doesn’t have anything to do with culture; it’s just white supremacy rebranded.

If there is something surprising in the two men talking, it’s that Tate is a Muslim convert and mixed race. We imagine Langenhove is happy to ignore all this because Tate is first and foremost a rich and hateful bigot who engages in white supremacy himself.

Tate frequently uses the n-word with a hard R to denigrate people; he’s also argued that being mixed race allows him to understand that Black and white people are inherently different, with Black people being the more violent. That post ended as follows:

And white supremacists are totally right.

No white only country?

Sooner or later means no white people.

You’ll be out bred.
You’ll be out violence’d.
You’ll be cucked by words.
You’ll be betrayed by your own kind.

And I’m not your enemy for pointing this out.

I’m actually your brown friend.

Confirming you were right all along, but I, unlike you, can’t be called racist to any serious effect.

Reading this, it’s abundantly clear why a white supremacist would ally with him.

Andrew Tate — Funding

Tate responded to a post from Langenhove in which he asked for money to fund a rape gang inquiry. Tate offered to donate, before later saying he would send over the money as soon as he had the “funding details”.

I’ll donate. What’s the total cost?

Beneath Tate’s original message, rape gang survivor Correne made the following accusation:

Are you for fucking real???

I’m a survivor from [Tommy Robinson’s] documentary.

So these Tate brothers helped my little boy and promised to help him every 3 months. Then stopped so my son couldn’t even go to school. Then lied about me saying I used there money for cocaine because I believe the men that raped me lied to them!! I even did a drug test to prove I hadn’t after them publicly shaming me without even asking me if it was true. They publicly shamed me on here after they ignored me for months, they didn’t even ask Tommy Robinson if it was true, which he would of confirmed it wasn’t…

Contrary to this, Robinson has been accused of covering for the Tate brothers before. As we reported, right-wing commentator Lauren Southern claims Tate raped her in 2018 when she visited him in Romania alongside Robinson. Robinson would later accuse her of lying, with Southern hitting back:

I went once to Romania with you – one entry, one exit – in 2018, when you took me to a business meeting to meet your pimp friend.

Speaking on Tate’s alleged victims, Southern said:

There are 40 plus victims – known victims – women and girls – British women and minors – the very people you claim to protect. This isn’t just about our egos or our reputations. This is a much bigger case than that.

She also said:

you are being lied to. You are being lied to by people who are stealing your money, defending sex traffickers and covering up their crimes, and who have very different missions privately than what they are telling you their missions are publicly.

Robinson is also promoting Restore’s report, by the way.

Supposedly in the interest of protecting women.

Why?

Following Tate’s intervention, people asked why he would involve himself in this. To some, the answer seemed obvious — to distract from his own alleged crimes:

Andrew Tate has suddenly started trying to use grooming gangs as a distraction in a bizarre move.

Not only was his case not “thrown out completely,” he literally had a new charge added to it today for allegations of trafficking another woman.

As NPR reported on 28 May:

LONDON — British prosecutors have confirmed that Andrew and Tristan Tate face 21 criminal charges in total, that include rape, assault and human trafficking.

It’s the first time that Britain’s Crown Prosecution has revealed the detailed charges, that it first authorized last year after a police service in Bedfordshire — north of London — provided it with a file of allegations dating back to a period between 2012 and 2015.

The two British American brothers will face the charges once they are extradited back to the U.K. from Romania, where they currently live. But their extradition is still pending because they are still involved in separate criminal proceedings in Romania. They involve allegations of having formed a criminal gang to exploit women.

While Tate’s activities in Romania are alleged, the problem is that he himself is one of the people to have alleged them:

Here he admits in more detail to tricking women, giving them the false impression of love, and using a “bottom bitch” for manipulation for the sole purpose of putting them in front of a camera and making money off of them.

Deception and exploitation. This is human trafficking. pic.twitter.com/XtS6uU2E5g

Abusers using abuse

Clearly, Andrew Tate doesn’t give a sh*t about women.

Any women.

And neither do the other men we’ve highlighted who are lining up behind Restore’s dodgy report.

The trick Restore pulled is that it included testimony from real victims to give the report a sheen of credibility. Really, though, it’s a case of abusive men using the pain of abused women to commit fresh abuse against people of colour.

A truly shameful chapter in British history.
