Daniel Levy is a British-Israeli analyst, commentator, and former Israeli government negotiator whose biography reads like a map of the peace process’s rise and fall. He served as an official negotiator under Prime Ministers Yitzhak Rabin and Ehud Barak. He went into those negotiations as a believer, but came out of them with a very different view of what Israel actually intended. Ash sat down with Daniel Levy at a pivotal moment.
