BRITISH sprinter Asha Philip, who won two Olympic bronze medals in the 4×100 metres relay, announced her retirement from athletics today.

As well as securing bronze as part of the Great Britain team in Rio and then again at the delayed Toyko 2020 Games, Philip also won a relay silver in the 2017 World Championships in London and then Doha two years later before another third-placed finish at Budapest 2023.
