VOTERS want Sir Keir Starmer to quit in favour of Makerfield by-election victor Andy Burnham, new polling revealed.
The Ipsos survey showed two-thirds of the public, including two-thirds of Labour voters, do not want Sir Keir to lead Labour into the next general election, while more than half want him to stand down.
Just over a third feel that he should continue in Downing Street. Among those who have a view, Mr Burnham is the preferred replacement.
