Sally Rooney has spoken out once more against Israel’s genocide and the criminalisation of protest in the UK. The author said that just as Israel has inherited its tactics from British and European colonialism, governments in the UK and Germany are copying Israel in how they increasingly outlaw dissent. Rooney spoke at the event alongside Matt Kennard, Tadhg Hickey and Abubaker Abed.
