The world relies on a modest number of countries to keep watch over the ocean. That arrangement is starting to fail. Europe and Asia must now decide whether to let the system unravel, or to take it up together.

    Asia’s got such a great track record. China floods the sea with trash while Japan are famous for overhunting tuna, dolphins, and whales. Taiji’s Dolphin Slaughter Cover has remained open even after investigative journalists exposed them many years ago.

    Say what you want about the USA but at least they put effort into protecting these creatures in the past. Even that fuckin crook Nixon signed legislature to save the whales.

    Let’s see more action and less words.
