ENGLAND forward Beth Mead has joined Manchester City on a deal until summer 2029, the Women’s Super League club announced today.
The 31-year-old arrives at the club after leaving WSL rivals Arsenal last month, where she won the league title in the 2018-19 season and helped them secure Champions League glory in May last year, as well as winning three League Cups during a nine-year stint in north London.
Mead began her career with Sunderland and became the youngest WSL Golden Boot winner at the age of 20 before signing for Arsenal in January 2017.
