Protesters clashed with police in La Paz Wednesday, as calls continue for far-right President Rodrigo Paz to resign. The demonstration was led by workers and farmers following over 40 days of anti-government protests. Paz has claimed the protests are driven by “narcoterrorists," and has also backed a law expanding his authority to declare states of emergency and pave the way for even harsher police crackdowns.
