Fires raged through the illegally-occupied West Bank near the Christian village of Taybeh on Tuesday, as the area was once again targeted, reportedly by settlers. Palestinians accused settlers of preventing them from putting out the blaze. “There were attacks by the settlers, and they also attacked our people,” said Father Bashar Fawadleh, a local priest. “They stole the phones, and they also attacked the cars.” A Palestinian Authority Civil Defence spokesperson said Israeli military stopped firefighters from reaching the blaze.
