MEN’S GOLF: Southport-born Tommy Fleetwood is the narrow pre-tournament favourite for the Canada Open that tees off in Caledon, Ontario tomorrow.

The 35-year-old, currently ranked as the world’s seventh-best player, is joined at the top of the betting odds by American Sam Burns and Sheffield’s world number four Matthew Fitzpatrick.

PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai, Justin Rose and Collin Morikawa are also in the 147-player field.
