FORMER Labour MSP Colin Smyth attended court today over allegations he caused multiple crashes in central Edinburgh while over the drink-drive limit.

Mr Smyth was suspended from Labour in August 2025 after he was charged with possession of indecent images of children and faced allegations — which he denies — of placing a hidden camera in a toilet of the Scottish Parliament.
