MATT RICHARDSON will make his Team England debut at this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as he goes up against the nation with which he won two gold medals four years ago.

The 27-year-old, crowned the fastest man on two wheels when he broke the 200m sprint record in 2025, won individual sprint and team sprint gold for Australia at the Birmingham Games in 2022.

But having switched allegiance to the country of his birth following the Paris Olympics, Richardson will be a rival to his old team-mates in Glasgow next month.
