While the media reports on a “ceasefire,” the reality on the ground in Lebanon tells a drastically different story. Despite the April 17 U.S.-brokered agreement, Israel has aggressively intensified its military campaign, issuing mass displacement orders covering 14% of the country, threatening over 300 villages, and killing over 1,000 Lebanese people since the truce supposedly took effect.
