SCOTTISH Greens insisted today that the SNP government’s campaign for independence must focus on building a fairer, greener Scotland that improves people’s lives and challenges Westminster.The party’s co-leader Gillian Mackay made the comments as MSPs prepare to debate a request for the transfer of powers to hold another referendum on separation from the UK to Holyrood, known as a Section 30 order.She said: “The case for independence will be won when people can clearly see how it can improve everyday life for them and their communities.
