US president Donald Trump thinks he could be the next prime minister of Israel. Whilst praising Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump started imagining himself in the role. “I’m at 99% in Israel,” he claimed. “So maybe after I do this, I’ll go to Israel, run for prime minister.” It’s unclear which polling data Trump was citing. Meanwhile, Trump’s approval rating among US voters has plummeted to just 35%, according to the latest Reuters poll.
