Mark Watt top-scored with 66 from number seven, but six team-mates fell for single figures. The USA chased down the target inside 28 overs, with Jack Jarvis, Oliver Davidson and Michael Leask taking a wicket apiece. The defeat sees Scotland slip behind the US at the top of the table.
