Clashes erupted in Nairobi between protesters and security forces after transport workers launched a strike over rising fuel prices, paralyzing movement across the Kenyan capital. The #RejectFuelPrices strike began at midnight on May 18 when minibus operators and other transport groups suspended services following a call from the Transport Sector Alliance.
